Brandy cocktails you should know

French Maid

mint leaves
3 cucumber slices
3/4 oz lime juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
1/4 oz falernum
1 1/2 oz Brandy Sainte Louise
ginger beer

Combine mint leaves, cucumbers, and simple syrup in a shaking tin and gently muddle without breaking the mint, add all other ingredients (except ginger beer) and ice, shake until chilled and diluted, strain and serve in a tumbler filled with ice. Top with ginger beer and garnish with a cucumber slice and sprigs of mint.
